Marty Hayden has been teaching music for over 25 years. Prior to that, he received a B.A. in Music Education from Westfield State University where he studied classical and jazz guitar as well as piano. He is a songwriter who still believes his best song is his next song. He has recorded original music and played in many professional bands over the years, but his heart has remained in teaching.
His philosophy of teaching is simple; music is fun and working hard to be the best you can be is it’s own reward. Practice is the key to continued growth as a player and he dedicates a considerable amount of time to it each and every day. He is always looking for new students who are ready to get busy having fun and learning music. So let’s get started!
