Our Story
Quality Music Lessons was started 20 years ago by Marty Hayden as a place where people of all ages and musical backgrounds could find teachers that are both fun and professional to help them further their musical growth. We have been here at the same location at 166 N Broadway, Salem N.H. since the beginning.
We specialize in guiding budding songwriters and musicians develop their style. Whether it is broadway/theatre, rock, pop, country, blues, blue grass, classical or jazz, we are ready to help. At QML, we are regularly looking to expand our offerings and are always on the lookout for talented teachers to join us in our mission.
We currently offer lessons in voice, piano, electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic and classical guitar, banjo and ukulele. We also help with audition preparation, improvisation and music theory to help you be a more creative and effective player and performer. All of our teachers have music degrees and are very focused on helping their students move along on their musical journeys.
